Math Stations

Yesterday we discussed what Math Stations should look like, sound like, feel like, and what to do when we need help.  After that, I taught the class the math game First to 100, and then they played and practiced.  See our Math Stations Chart below:


Today we learned the math game Addition Number Battle.  See directions and pictures below:









The other game we learned today was Color Twenty.  This game involves strategy and adding.  They had fun playing!!!


Below is what our Math Station board looks like.  Each kiddo's frog is on a "lilipad" and that is the station they are working at that day.  Then, they go to the drawer with the correct station number,and begin their activity.  Some will be independent, some partner, and some small group.
