For our lesson today I read the book "Have You Seen Bugs?" During the reading, the students had to visualize what I was reading. I did not share the illustrations with them. Then, they had to draw what they visualized. We also talked about WHY good readers visualize - they get excited to read more, they can understand the story better, and it helps them to make better predictions.
