Two Lindbergh high school students came and talked to us about soil. Then, they helped the students make their own soil using the four types: sand, humus, compost, and rocks. After that, they put seeds in with their soil. We will then spend the next several weeks observing the seeds, and seeing which type of soil will help the radishes grow the best. The high school students will return on March 28th to finalize the project.
Students made their own soil, choosing how many scoops from each type to use. They can only use 8 scoops total.
